Dax Shepard & Kristen Bell Welcome Baby No. 2: Delta

Congratulations are in order for Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell.

The Parenthood star, 39, and House of Lies actress, 34, welcomed their second child – daughter Delta – on Friday, December 19, they announced via Twitter.

“Delta Bell Shepard is here. She doesn’t look like either Kristen or me, but we’re gonna keep her anyway,” the proud papa announced.

“The estrogen has now hit critical mass! Good luck, Dax. And welcome to the world DELTA BELL SHEPARD,” the actress tweeted.

Baby Delta joins big sister Lincoln, 21 months.

As for any differences with her pregnancy the second around, the Frozen star said it had been “exactly the same.”

She added: “Maybe five percent harder because I chase a toddler, but at the same time, it keeps me active. But yeah, it’s been identical.”

  1. stupid name. don’t like it.

alpha beta gamma delta epsilon *blah*

but what to expect from parents who name a girl lincoln?

  2. And all of you would suggest what? Another Annabelle, Sophia, Addysyn? I don’t see a single thing wrong with Delta (an established feminine name, just not an overly popular one) OR Lincoln (who says only boys can have surname names?). What if these names have personal significance to them? What if they’re named for beloved family members? People need to get off their baby name high horses; we don’t need a planet full of kids all generation-identified by their names.
