Celebrity parents attended the launch party for the 4moms self-installing car seat in Los Angeles, Calif. on Thursday (August 4).
“I am definitely using the 4moms car seat,” mom-to-be Tatyana Ali, 37, told Celebrity Baby Scoop at the event held at the Petersen Automotive Museum Penthouse.
Many other celebrities attended the rooftop cocktail party, including David Walton and Majandra Delfino, Stephen “tWitch” Boss and Allison Holker, Ian Ziering, Max Greenfield, Tamar Braxton, DeAnna Pappas Stagliano, Elisabetta Canalis, Emma Caulfield, Owain Yeoman, Sean Maguire, Anna Trebunskaya, Beverley Mitchell, Missi Pyle, Leonor Varela, Draya Michele, Sherri Saum, Christine Lakin, Michael Stagliano, Amy Davidson, Edy Ganem, Sara Rue, Jennifer Aspen, Alisan Porter, Chudney Ross, and Ever Carradine, among others.
While at the event, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Tatyana Ali opened up about impending motherhood.
“This is my first, I am incredibly excited, it’s been just an amazing experience,” the actress told Celebrity Baby Scoop.
And she’s embracing easy-to-use baby products to calm her first-time mom nerves.
“Because this is my first I am really learning about the whole world, but I had no idea that the technology had come this far,” Ali shared. “And you know you are worried about the birth and the hospital, and safety and what happens when you leave the hospital. It shouldn’t be that complicated to be able to keep your baby safe, so yeah, thank God for them. I am definitely using the 4moms car seat.”
The Bachelorette alum DeAnna Pappas Stagliano – who raises daughter Addison, 2, and son Austin, 5 months, with husband Stephen Stagliano – also chatted with Celebrity Baby Scoop at the launch party.
“It’s awesome! It’s freaking awesome,” the former reality star, 34, said of the 4moms self-installing car seat. “At the end of the day one less this to worry about is awesome.”
New parents Allison Holker and Stephen “tWitch” Boss were also impressed with the new technology.
The Dancing with the Stars pro, 28, and her Ellen DeGeneres Show star husband, 33, welcomed their first child together – son Maddox Laurel Boss – on March 27. And the self-installing car seat is “absolutely a game changer,” Holker told Celebrity Baby Scoop.
“I think it will [inspire] everyone to be more savvy with the technology of things and take to a whole new level that we have never seen before,” said the new mom.
New dad “tWitch” recalls taking his newborn home from the hospital, and how the 4moms helped with this “nerve-wracking” experience.
“As a parent I don’t know if there is such a thing as overly paranoid,” he told Celebrity Baby Scoop. “Some of you may disagree with me, but those moments of putting your child into a car seat for the first time, and securing them in the car to take them home for the first time is probably one of the most nerve-wracking things that I have ever encountered. So something like this, I know it might put a couple of those nerves at ease, because now you have merged the technology and safety and that is the best thing.”
Popular actress Sara Rue also took the time to chat with Celebrity Baby Scoop at the launch party.
“We tried a lot of different car seats, so I am excited to try out a new one,” said Rue, mom to 3-year-old daughter Talulah. “It’s always good, I feel like 4moms is a brand you can trust.”
7th Heaven alum Beverley Mitchell – who raises daughter Kenzie, 3, and son Hutton, 1, with husband Michael Cameron – is also loving the new 4moms self-installing car seat.
“It’s a smart car seat that can tell you that something’s not right, and the fact that it checks itself every time you start the car, that’s amazing. I think that’s pretty incredible,” Mitchell told Celebrity Baby Scoop. “Four out of five car seats are installed improperly, and that is really scary because we are all doing the best we can. We obviously all want to keep our kids safe.”
