The Royal Family Wave Goodbye To Canada

Cheerio, eh!

Prince William and Kate Middleton were all smiles with their adorable children – Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 16 months – while waving goodbye to Canada on Saturday (October 1).

Wrapping up their week-long tour in British Columbia and Yukon, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 34, highlighted mental health initiatives during their stay.

After a sailing trip and tour over Vancouver Island Saturday morning, the royal family returned to London, England on a Canadian Air Force Plane.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked every bit the princess in a Catherine Walker cream-colored tailed coat dress, accessorized by pearl drop earrings, Bennett heels and the queen’s maple leaf diamond brooch.

Not to mention, Prince George’s signature knee-high socks and Princess Charlotte’s adorable dress and matching red accessories.

Kensington Palace took to Instagram with a farewell video and message to the Canadian people.

“As The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s tour of Canada draws to a close, we would like to share a video with special moment’s from Thursday’s children’s party – thank you Canada for an incredible week!

The Duke of Cambridge also has a message of thanks to share. His Royal Highness said: “Catherine and I are incredibly grateful to the people of Canada for the warmth and hospitality they have extended to our family over the last week.

We have loved our time in British Columbia and Yukon and will never forget the beautiful places we have seen and the many people who have been kind enough to come to welcome us in person. We feel very lucky to have been able to introduce George and Charlotte to Canada.

This country will play a big part in the lives of our children and we have created such happy memories for our family during this visit.  Canada is a country of optimism, generosity and unrivalled natural beauty. I hope we have helped all Canadians celebrate what makes this country great. We will see you again soon.” #RoyalVisitCanada.”
