Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow posted a heartwarming photo of ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, embracing their 10-year-old son Moses.
“Here is to reunions, togetherness, family, and love love love. Happy thanksgiving eve, everyone. Love, gp,” the Iron Man star, 44, Instagrammed the sweet image.
Martin has just returned to the United States after performing at the Global Citizen Festival India.
After 12-years of marriage, Martin and Paltrow “consciously uncoupled,” but they continue to peacefully co-parent their son and daughter Apple, 12.
“It’s like we are still a family, but not a couple,” said the actress earlier this year. “I think we are better as friends than we were [married]. We are very close and supportive of one another.”
She added: “When we said we’re going to put the children first, we meant [it]. If you want to put your children first then why are you slagging your husband off in front of them? So we really tried, [and] that meant, ‘I’m gonna check my s–t at the door, and I’m going to focus on all the reasons that I love you, that you’re like my brother and my family forever and we’ll deal with that stuff another time.’ It’s not always easy, but it’s just the way we wanted to try to do it. I have to say it wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, but it was our outcome and we’ve really done the best that we can.”
Paltrow has been dating producer Brad Falchuk since August 2014 and Martin has been in a relationship with actress Annabelle Wallis for one year.
