Pop superstar Britney Spears is back home with her boys – Preston, 11, and Jayden, 10 – after returning from Louisiana.
“Family time,” the Toxic hitmaker, 35, Instagrammed the image with her boys in the pool on Saturday.
The mom-of-two was in Louisiana supporting her sister, country singer Jamie Lynn Spears, and her 8-year-old niece Maddie.
Maddie is recovering at home after almost drowning in an ATV accident on Sunday (February 5).
“We are so grateful to share that Maddie is making progress,” wrote Britney last Wednesday. “Thank you all for sending thoughts and prayers our way. Let’s all keep praying.”
On Friday, Britney shared another message with her fans via social media.
“So grateful that Maddie was able to go home today… it’s truly a miracle. Our prayers were heard, and they were answered. Thank you so much for all of your love and support this week. My family appreciates it more than you will ever know,” she wrote.
According to police, the accident occurred on family property in full view of her mother Jamie Lynn, 25, and stepfather Jamie Watson, who tried to rescue Maddie “to no avail.”
After steering the vehicle to avoid running over a nearby drainage ditch, Maddie took a hard right and “overcorrected, causing the ATV to enter the pond. The ATV and child were instantly submerged in the water right before their eyes.”
“Within seconds the child’s mother, stepfather and other family members reached the pond, dove in and attempted to rescue the child to no avail,” the report continued. “The child was trapped and secured by the seatbelt and the ATV’s safety netting. Within two minutes, Acadian Ambulance Services arrived and assisted in freeing the child from the cold waters.”
On Friday, Jamie Lynn shared a snapshot leaving the hospital with her husband and daughter.
