Ahead of Mother’s Day, The Leftovers star Liv Tyler and son Sailor, 2, and daughter Lula, 9 months, appear in a commercial for Gap, titled Mama Said, in support of charity Every Mother Counts.
The proud mama posted some photos from the ad on her Instagram page.
The Armageddon actress, 39, co-directed the ad with Paola Kudacki, which also includes Coco Rocha, Candice Swanepoel, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Cass & Ali Bird with their children.
“I often think of the things my grandmother and my mother have been telling me my whole life. Remembering what your ‘mama said’ as a child and growing up is very important. I often try to think of things that I can say to my children in a way that they can hear me the same way I heard my mom,” Tyler said in a statement.
The mom-of-three shared some snapshots from the ad.
“#MamaSaidGap @gap @everymomcounts,” Tyler captioned the slideshow of images.
The Lord of the Rings actress also posted a clip of the ad which depicts mothers enjoying intimate, candid moments with their children playing, dancing and bonding.
