“While he throws me sand I enjoy his laughter,” the Argentine model-actress, 29, Instagrammed the image with 15-month-old son Elias at the beach.
During a press conference in her native Argentina, Lopilato, 29, confirmed that Noah is now in good health.
“Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes,” she said. “It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love, and I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.”
Admitting they are still very “sensitive” about their son’s health, they did find solace in their fans’ prayers.
“But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street,” she continued. “It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.”
Bublé and Lopilato traveled to Buenos Aires in March knowing their son was in good health. That said, the preschooler has a “long process” ahead of him.
“My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with check-ups,” she shared. “But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow. Seeing Noah grow and being happy gave me the strength to return and finish this film.”
She added: “My faith in the fact God had a miracle helped me. I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family. As a family we were always very united and we fought this together. We did everything we could for our son, so he would come through this.”
The Canadian crooner, 41, first shared the shocking news of their son’s cancer diagnosis via Facebook on Nov. 4.
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US,” Bublé wrote. “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
Bublé and Lopilato – who were wed in March 2011 in Argentina – welcomed both sons in the singer’s hometown of Vancouver, B.C.
