The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and wife Sally Wood are on tour with their 16-month-old twin daughters — Gracie Jane and Alice Rose.
“Bonjour Paris!” the proud mama, 39, Instagrammed the image of the family-of-four posing in front of the band’s private jet.
Earlier this month, Sally shared a snapshot of the twins exploring backstage.
In August, the legendary rocker, 70, said he “had a fight with a touch of lung cancer” that started in May.
“There was a week when everything hung in the balance and it could have been curtains — time to say goodbye,” he shared. “You never know what is going to happen.”
After 50 years of smoking, he quit a week before the twins were born.
“I had this thought at the back of my mind after I gave up smoking a year ago: “How can I have got through 50 years of chain-smoking — and all the rest of my bad habits — without something going on in there,” he said.
“Ronnie & Sally Wood are delighted to announce the birth of their twins Gracie Jane (6 lbs.) & Alice Rose (5.7 lbs.),” Wood’s publicist said in a statement. “The girls arrived on 30 May at 22:30 and all are doing brilliantly. The babies are perfect.”
The Rolling Stones will play thirteen shows in twelve different venues across Europe in September and October.
