Looking pretty in pink and white, Serena Williams‘ daughter Alexis Jr., 8 weeks, is “making moves” in a new Instagram image. What a cutie!
Last week, Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian posted a photo of their daughter on her Instagram page.
“Say what,” the proud parents captioned the photo.
The new dad, 34, also shared an image toting their tot. “Mon petit chou,” he wrote.
During a recent news conference, it was confirmed that Williams will play the Jan. 15-28 competition to defend her title at the Australian Open.
Williams has talked about her plan to return to competitive tennis in January 2018.
During the TED 2017 Conference in Vancouver, Williams told Gayle King, “I definitely plan on coming back. I’m not done yet. If [my sister Venus Williams is] still playing, I know I can play. This is just a new part of my life. My baby’s going to be in the stands and hopefully cheering for me.”
The tennis star and her Reddit co-found fiancé welcomed their first child on Sept. 1, 2017.
Alexis Jr. arrived at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, weighing in at 6 lbs., 13 oz.
Nearly two weeks after giving birth, the new mom introduced her newborn daughter on social media.
“Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. You have to check out link in bio for her amazing journey. Also check out my IG stories,” the tennis champ captioned the mother-daughter image.
In a video, the proud new mom shared an online journal documenting her first pregnancy.
“So we’re leaving the hospital after six, seven days,” she said in a YouTube video debuting her daughter. “It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got — we got a baby girl!”
