Nailed it (again) ! Neil Patrick Harris posted his much anticipated family photo on the eve of Halloween. The How I Met Your Mother star, 44, and husband David Burtka dressed up with their 7-year-old twins Harper and Gideon in an American Horror Story circus theme this year.
“Hurry, hurry! Step right up and behold the Burtka-Harris Halloween Carnival of Curiosities! #happyhalloween,” the Gone Girl star captioned the Instagram image.
Over the weekend, the twins had some ooey gooey festive fun.
“Smashing pumpkins! Thank you @rockymountainchocolate,” Burtka, 42, captioned the cute clip of the twins smashing into a chocolate pumpkin treat.
Every year, the Burtka-Harris family win Halloween!
Last year, they channeled old Hollywood in costumes that included Marilyn Monroe, Groucho Marx, Charlie Chaplin and James Dean.
“Hooray for Halloween! #Marilyn #Groucho #Chaplin #JamesDean @dbelicious,” NPH captioned the image with his family.
‘The force’ was with the famous family the year before.
Donning Star Wars-themed costumes, the adorable family-of-four are ready for some trick-or-treating fun. “A long time ago in a Halloween far, far away….,” the Doogie Howser, M.D. alum captioned the cute shot.
And in 2014, they went with Batman and Robin-themed outfits.
“Happy Halloween from Gotham City,” Harris captioned the festive photo.
The family-of-four have dressed up in a Peter Pan theme, they’ve gone with Wizard of Oz costumes, the actor and his family have worn Alice in Wonderland-themed outfits, and they have gotten ghoulish with Frankenstein costumes.
This year, NPH has been doing his research on a circus theme. While in Vancouver, the actor went to KURIOS by Cirque du Soleil.
“At a @cirquedusoleil show, I am in my happy place. Thanks #KURIOS for being an exquisite example of artistry, creativity, and showmanship. You fill my heart with passion and my brain with possibility. Bravo! #mustsee,” he wrote.
Earlier this week, he hit the PNE for some festive fun in the Canadian city.
“Spent last night getting very excited about tomorrow night. #frightnights2017 was both terrifying and exhilarating, with shrieks, screams and laughs a’plenty! Thanks @pne_playland #HalloweenEve,” he wrote.
Happy Halloween to the Burtka-Harris family!
