Kym Johnson, 41, announced on social media Monday that she and husband Robert Herjavec, 55, are taking the baby plunge. The DWTS star posted her sonogram picture yesterday on Instagram and it looks like their baby is already cheeky, what looked like the baby giving a thumbs up in the sonogram.
Surprise – It’s Twins for Kym and Robert
If the pregnancy news wasn’t exciting enough on Tuesday the couple confirmed that they aren’t expecting one baby but two, the happy couple are expecting twins!
It’s been quite the whirlwind romance for the two. The DWTS star and business tycoon met when matched as dance partners for season 20 on the hit show Dancing With the Stars. At the time, Herjavec was legally separated from his wife of 24 years whom he shares three children with. He had been open how the separation, ultimately led to divorce had descended him into a deep depression and had even considered suicide.
Things changed quickly for the Shark Tank star, the chemistry between him and the Australian beauty was undeniable on and off the dance floor. The two started spending more and more time together and the two were not shy about their relationship on social media, sharing pictures of the two vacationing together.
In February 2016 the two announced they were engaged. Kym gushed on social media about the engagement, “I’m the luckiest girl in the world because last night the love of my life asked me to marry him and I said yes! I never thought a year ago I’d meet someone who would change my life completely!”
The two married shortly after in July 2016 in a lavish wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The fairytale romance continued on their honeymoon that they took in Bora Bora. Robert spoke about his wedding day and called the day epic. He also went on to say “She looked so beautiful. I was so lucky to meet her and it was such a incredible day.”
Since the wedding, Kym has been working on opening a dance studio in Los Angeles, her husband now isn’t the only entrepreneur and now Kym can add mom to be to the list. Not much seems to slow these two down and from the sonogram picture, these babies are going to keep them on their toes.
