Everything is better in pairs, especially when it comes to babies. Here are a few of the celebrities that welcomed twins in 2017.
The Soccer Star welcomed twins via surrogate over the summer boy-girl twins named Eva Maria and Mateo. Cristiano, 32, made the announcement on social media with a picture of him holding his newborns writing “So happy to be able to hold the two new loves of my life.”
Jaime, 40, and boyfriend Hamzi Hijazi welcomed sons Leo and Lennon in October. The actress debuted the boys on her Instagram wearing match pajamas captioning the picture “They’re here! Introducing our new additions, Leo and Lennon, born October 16th. #doubletrouble.”
Beyonce and Jay-Z
The King and Queen of music welcomed their two new additions in June, son Sir Carter and daughter Rumi. With over 10 Million likes Beyonce, 36, practically single-handedly caused Instagram to crash not to mention sending her fans into a frenzy when she posted a picture of she and her new babies.
George and Amal Clooney
The silver fox and his leading lady welcomed boy-girl twins, Ella and Alexander, this year. The ultra-private couple has kept the newborns out of the spotlight and has yet to release any pictures of the babies.
The actor and his wife Amal, 39, have spent most of their time since welcoming the twins in Europe. Clooney and his human rights attorney wife have been spotted out and about in Venice having a little one on one time and dinners with close friends. George had joked in an interview about his new role as a father “They don’t cry, I cry more than they do. I cry four times a day right now, because I’m so tired.”
The pop icon adopted the 5 years old twins Estere and Stella from the girls’ native country Malawi back in February. Madonna, 59, has said of how the two are adjusting to their new family “It’s like they were always here. It didn’t take long for them to get acclimated.”
