A lot to look forward to in 2018 for The Superstore actress, America Ferrera, and her husband Ryan Piers Williams. The pair both used social media as a platform on New Year’s Eve to share the news.
America posted a picture of the soon to be parents wearing silly 2018 glasses, her hubby Ryan is smiling and America is giving an air kiss to the camera holding up a onesie that read ‘mas besos.’ The actress wrote, “We’re welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018! Wishing you #MasBesos in the New Year! #babybesos.”
Ryan shared the same picture on his social media outlet captioning the photograph, “Making room for new and beautiful things to come in 2018!”
America Ferrera, 33, and husband Ryan, 36, met when Williams cast the actress in a student film he was directing when attending the University of Southern California (USC). Ferrera had said in an interview about her relationship with her hubby, “We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us together.”
Ryan proposed to America in 2010 with a 4-carat round-diamond ring and married in the summer of 2011. Her Ugly Betty co-star officiated the ceremony that was held at the home of Vanessa Williams. The couple recently traveled to Ireland to celebrate their 12 year anniversary.
At 33, I finally understand that my body is a miracle! After too many years of criticizing, punishing, depriving, or neglecting my body for what it isn't, I'm attempting to love it unapologetically as it is! Thank you body for 33 years of standing with me even when I wasn't on your side. I promise from here on out to stand by you and face down all the criticism and bullshit distractions (inner & outer), so that we can move beyond beautiful and get to the business of living! Thank you to these amazing humans and so many more who have inspired me to celebrate my health and strength! Get you some friends who remind you to celebrate your strong, healthy, loyal body! #HappyBirthdayBody #thisis33 #beyondbeautiful
This past year has also been a learning lesson for the Latina Beauty on embracing her body and being at peace with her ‘assets’ not ‘have-nots’. She posted on her Instagram at a Soul Cycle class telling her fans what it means to turn a year older writing, “At 33, I finally understand that my body is a miracle! After too many years of criticizing, punishing, depriving, or neglecting my body for what it isn’t, I’m attempting to love it unapologetically as it is.”
We look forward to America’s and Ryan’s special delivery in 2018, Congrats…
