If you’re a mum you most likely take a ton of pictures of your children and Kate Middleton is no exception. The Royal mum captured Princess Charlotte’s first day of nursery school and the pictures are to die for!
Kensington Palace released the two adorable pictures of the Princess on behalf of William and Kate.
In the statement, they said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Wilcocks Nursery School.”
The Princess was bundled in a maroon wool coat with matching Mary Jane shoes and wore taupe colored tights. She also had a pale, pink scarf around her neck while carrying a pink backpack. A maroon bow was placed in her hair to keep her hair off her face.
Charlotte was all smiles in the two photographs you could sense she was engaging with the photographer, who was her mum! In the first picture, she was standing on a step holding onto the railing.
In the second picture, she was sitting down on a step holding her hands together on her lap. Charlotte has grown into such a big girl and you could see the excitement on her face for her big day.
Charlotte’s first day of school isn’t the only exciting news from the Royal Family this week, The Duchess made her official return to her 2018 Royal duties. Kate paid a visit to the Reach Academy in West London that is an outreach program that assists with children’s mental health Place2Be to aid teachers, parents, and students.
If something looked familiar about the dress Kate was wearing at the occasion it’s because the Duchess has worn the dress twice before during her pregnancy with Charlotte. The Duchess of Cambridge often reworks her favorite pieces from her wardrobe even if she has worn them previously at public events.
The Duchess also quietly celebrated her 36th birthday this week, a very eventful week for the Royals.
