Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 36, announced on Instagram Tuesday that she and pro baseball hubby Cutter Dykstra, 28, welcomed their newborn son Jack Adam Dykstra.
Jack ran a little behind schedule. The actress informed her followers stating, “He’s here. Jack Adam Dykstra, we will talk about your tardiness eventually, but for now, we’ve got a lot of love to give.”
The Sopranos alum shared a photo collection of the family of four spending the first moments with Jack. Pictured is Sigler’s oldest son Beau Kyle, 4, holding his new brother with an enormous grin, looks like Beau has the big brother job handled.
And, you always need the help from your friends and Jaime thanked her inner circle that showed up to lend a helping hand, “Thanks to my besties for helping me laugh and smile.” She went on to thank her biggest supporter, “And to my husband for just being my rock.”
In honor of her late brother Adam who passed in 2014 from a fatal brain hemorrhage Jamie chose a fitting way to honor her oldest brother. Jack will carry his name as his middle in remembrance.
The actress will now have two boys to juggle but with her strong circle of friends it seems like becoming a mother of two will be a seamless transition. She opened up about the roller coaster of a ride it is being a mom, “The things that help me the most is just talking to my girlfriends about it.”
She added, “I think being really open and honest about what you’re dealing with is important. I don’t try to pretend that I’m doing it perfectly and that things are all smooth and wonderful.”
Jaime who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) had admitted that she feared conceiving would be an impossibility for her. Miracles do happen and well wishes on Jaime’s new little miracle Jack.
