Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are reportedly working on giving their 2-year-old son Isaiah a sibling.
A source close to the country singer said of Carrie, “Everyone around her knows she wants a big family, and they’re always trying for another baby.”
The 32-year-old American Idol Alum has been transparent in the past about wanting a big family. In an interview from April 2017, she revealed, “We’re on God’s good timing or whatever you might call it. I’m just trying to figure out where life’s going to take me next.”
Carrie may be ready for another child but her son Isaiah might be gun shy with the idea. The ‘Before He Cheats’ singer said of Isaiah, “As a matter of fact, if a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog!”
Expanding her family would bring some ‘much needed’ joy to the singer who suffered a horrible at home accident in November. Carrie fell while at home alone with her son Isaiah, ultimately leading to a broken wrist and facial damage that needed fifty stitches. A source reported that Carrie can hardly contain her excitement at the idea of another child, “Just the thought of a new baby in their home has Carrie so excited.”
The source went on to say, “It’s not lost on (Carrie Underwood and Mike) that great joy can come out of great tragedy.”
And the source to the couple assures us that the couple’s marriage is rock solid, despite Mike returning to the NHL after a short 5-month retirement. The source claims the marriage is envied within their inner circle, “Carrie and Mike have a great life and a very strong marriage-one that their friend’s envy.”
Sounds like we could be hearing the upcoming baby news for Carrie and Mike very soon!
