There were quite a few baby bumps appearing on the Red Carpet this weekend from London Town. Hollywood “A-Listers” were in town for the BAFTA Awards including England’s very own Kate Middleton. Here’s the dish on what these ladies wore for the affair.
The Duchess, 36, joined her husband Prince William, who sits as the President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), to the award show wearing a floor-length hunter green gown accompanied by a black sash.
Kate, who is due in April, looked stunning for the evening events. She wore an emerald and diamond necklace with matching earrings to complete the ensemble while wearing her chestnut hair down.
The Duchess has received some criticism for not wearing black to the ceremony. Like the Golden Globes ceremony, women were asked to dress in Black in a show for solidarity for the #MeToo Movement. We must cut Middleton a break, the Royal Family never takes a stance on anything political. There would have been a fallout from the Royal Family if Kate would have chosen to wear black for the evening. Kate wearing a black sash was the Duchess’ subtle way of showing her support for the movement.
The 34-year-old Swedish actress debuted her baby bump on the Red Carpet Saturday evening. The actress cradled her bump when stopping to pose for photographers on the red carpet, you could see how her gown fitted nicely over her bump.
The Mission Impossible star wore a floor-length black gown with a matching black cape. The dress had a high slit on one side that showed off Ferguson black open toe heels.
Rebecca, who is due in the second quarter of the year, opted for diamond encrusted bangles on each wrist, one of the bangles was black and white diamonds while wearing her hair up and off of her face. This will be Rebecca’s second child. She is already a mother to her 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.
The 35-year-old girlfriend of actor Hugh Grant is reportedly carrying Grant’s fifth child. The Swedish producer attended the BAFTA Awards following the all black protocol for the evening ceremony. Eberstein looked clean and classic wearing a short dress showing off her legs. Anna wore a tuxedo jacket over the dress that had a contrasting black silk lapel. Wearing her hair up, Anna wore diamond chandelier earrings and went with a black bootie on the feet for a more subdued look.
