The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, was visiting the city of Sunderland today known for its art scene and engineering talent.
Kate Middleton arrived in Sunderland bundled in a forest green double-breasted Dolce and Gabanna coat that showed a hint of her seven-month bump. She wore the same version of the designer’s coat in Burgundy during her royal tour of Sweden and Norway.

The first order of business during the day trip Kate and William attended an engagement at a local fire station that has been converted into a music and arts center.
They were entertained by music, dance and theatre performances from local children and young citizens.
Kate received some henna tattoo art from a young girl at the engagement. She drew a small henna design on the Duchess’ hand. Kate also asked if she could take a pack of bindis home for Princess Charlotte.

Shajida Begum, 18 was the young girl who drew the henna art on the Duchess. Begum recalled she asked Kate, ‘Would you like a design?’ referring to the Henna art and Kate replied, ‘Yes if you don’t mind.’
The young girl added, ‘She was saying it was really pretty.’
Kate Middleton and Prince William moved on after the fire station to the site of the new Northern Spire Bridge which is due to open in Spring 2018.
Kate had to ‘roll her sleeves up’ for this part of the trip and put her work gear on.
The Duchess covered her designer coat in work wear to stay safe while visiting the site while pulling her hair back and fastening a hard hat tightly on her head, she also wore safety goggles to protect any debris going into her eyes.
Kate is nearing the end of her third pregnancy but that doesn’t seem to be detouring the Duchess from slowing down. She looked happy and attentive while greeting the local’s who came out for a glimpse and a chance to meet the Duchess. This Royal Mama doesn’t show any signs of tiring.
