Anna Duggar is Counting Her Five ‘Blessings’ and Remembers the Child She Miscarried
Anna Duggar, the busy mother of five took, to her social media and posted a video of her five children gathered around the dining table. In the video, you see 8-year-old Mackynzie Renee, 2-year-old Meredith, 6-year-old Michael, 4-year-old Marcus and the youngest of the crew, 7-month-old Mason Garrett. The Duggar kiddos are snacking on cucumbers, minus baby Mason.
The 29-year mother wrote alongside her video, “You know you’re a #DuggarMom when your kids eat cucumbers faster than you can prepare them!"

She went on to give thanks, writing, “I’m so thankful for the 5 beautiful children God has given us (+1 in heaven!)”
Anna had spoken with Meredith Vieira at the time of her miscarriage opening up about the tragedy.
“It was very hard to go through the excitement of finding out we were expecting a little one and then losing it," she told Vieira in 2010.
The couple relied on their faith more than ever before during the heartbreak of losing a child.
“One thing that really helped was thanking God, thanking him in the good times and thanking him when things don’t go the way we expected them to."

“If you thank God it really, really releases you and helps you to be able to go on with life."
And losing a child wasn’t the only challenge thrown Anna’s way. After her marriage to husband Josh Duggar, 30, was turned upside down from his infidelity Anna leaned on God once again.
After two years of working on their marriage and family, the couple announced in March of last year they were expecting their fifth child.
In a blog post the couple wrote, “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family. Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust."
The couple went on to write, “We’ve learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time.”
