Eva Marcille is a Mother for the Second Time!
Eva Marcille, the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) reality star gave birth to her second child a boy on Friday, April, 13th.
The little boy will take his father’s name Michael Todd Sterling Jr.
The newborn arrived at 5:59 p.m. measuring 19 ½ inches long and weighing in at 7lbs., 3 oz.
This is Eva and fiancé Michael Sterling’s first child together. Marcille has a 4-year-old daughter Marley Rae with her ex Kevin McCall.
The 33-year-old new mother shared on her social media Michael Jr. stats writing alongside the post, “All praises be to God!"
A source close to the Top Model winner reveals, “She’s so happy their little prince is finally here!"
The Bravo star’s rep made a statement saying, “Mom and Michael Jr. are doing amazing and thank you, everyone, for their light and love."
Earlier in the week, Eva posted pics from her maternity photo shoot on her Instagram. The pregnant mama looked vibrant wearing a matching two-piece burnt orange ensemble that allowed her bump to proudly show. The reality star wore her hair up and placed sunflowers along the top. She captioned the photo, “Come lil baby, I’m ready to meet you."
Eva Marcille was nervously anticipating the arrival of her baby boy letting her fans know she was close to delivering her prince. On Thursday, she took a selfie from her hospital bed writing, “So ready…the calm before the storm."
Then on Friday, she updated her followers revealing Michael was taking his time, “Still at it. Come on Mikey."
The couple announced they were expecting and gave People Magazine the exclusive back in November. The photo shoot was a tea party inspiration showing Eva, Michael and her daughter Marley sitting at a kids table enjoying tea. There was a fourth empty chair at the table with a suspender and bow tie onesie draped across the top of the chair.
At the time, Eva revealed when speaking to her daughter about getting a sibling, “I said, ‘Marley, would you like to have a little brother or sister?’ And she said, ‘Yes, Mom, but you know what? Maybe a baby brother. Make it a brother.'”
