Chrissy Teigen is one step closer to welcoming her baby boy! The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, 32, was treated to yet another baby shower in Los Angeles on Friday, April 27.
The all-star guest list included Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Teigen’s handsome hubby, John Legend, took the keys, expertly playing the piano throughout the evening.
An impressive array of menu items may have curbed some of Teigen’s pregnancy cravings. A low-key dinner from Shake Shack was followed by a buffet of five elegant cakes presented by guest Kris Jenner, all of which featured legendary puns and phrases, such as “A Legend in the Making.”
a lot goin on at surprise baby shower 🤣
Mom-to-be Teigen feasted on carrot cake late into the evening, an adorable scene which Kardashian documented in an Instagram Story. The guest of honor broke into giggles when she realized she was caught in the act.
Teigen and Legend, 39, can’t wait to become a family of four. The proud parents share daughter Luna Simone, who celebrated her second birthday earlier this month with a Sesame Street-themed cake created by Mom and Dad, and the birthday girl herself.
It has been a whirlwind year for the couple, who announced their pregnancy in November 2017. One month later, the Lip Sync Battle presenter was showered with love and gifts from her best girlfriends at a surprise baby shower in New York City.
Teigen, who conceived her daughter through in vitro fertilization, decided to try IVF again for the couple’s second child. “You do the whole process again to try to get as many embryos and eggs as possible,” the mother-to-be told People back in February. “Everyone is freezing everything, and then you make the embryos out of what you freeze and try to make viable perfect embryos.”
It was unclear leading up to this week’s baby shower if Teigen and her hubby would keep their Friday night dinner plans with West and Kardashian. “@kimkardashian are we still doing dinner Friday or no lol,” Teigen wrote on Twitter after West shared a private text message from Legend, who called West out for being a Trump supporter.
We got love. Agree to disagree
The gents, however, put any disagreements aside for the Friday night shindig. “We got love,” West wrote on Twitter, alongside a snap of he and his longtime friend. “Agree to disagree.”
