Kirsten Dunst is a first-time mom. The 35-year-old actress welcomed her first child, a boy, with her fiancé Jesse Plemons, 30, over the weekend multiple sources have confirmed.
A source also confirmed, “Everyone is doing great.”
In December rumors swirled that the Bring it On actress was expecting her first child. Dunst confirmed the news the next month when she debuted her bump in a photo shoot for the fashion house Rodarte’s Fall-Winter 2018 lookbook.
And art does imitate life for the actress and her fiancé. The couple started dating after they met on the set of the FX series Fargo, where they played a married couple. Dunst and Plemons became engaged in January 2017.
Kirsten Dunst admitted in an interview with Marie Claire U.K. in July 2017, “I’m at a stage in my life where I’m like, ‘I’ve been working since I was 3. It’s time to have babies and chill.’”
She went on to say, “I wasn’t one of those ‘I need a baby!’ people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much. That love is just like…you can’t experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, ‘Where’s Kiki?’ I just love that love. That’s what I want.”
The Spiderman actress revealed to People in June that she’s “not in any rush” to walk down the aisle. But months later when she sat down with Kelly Rippa and Ryan Seacrest, she did divulge she has been using Pinterest to get her creative juices flowing to plan her big day.
“It’s really fun, and because we create it together from the beginning, it’s a really nice thing to do together. It’s going to be so personal and fun. We’re having a really good time.”
The new parents are said to be exchanging their vows this spring in Austin, Texas. It looks like the couple won’t have to search far for their ring bearer. Congrats to the new parents!
