This time last year friends and family were gathering for the nuptials of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews. A few things have changed since last year for Pippa, celebrating her first wedding anniversary today the couple is also expecting their first child.
Pippa arrived at the wedding of the year looking radiant as ever! And there was no maternity dress for this pregnant mum.
Pippa arrived at St. George’s Chapel for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding wearing a mint green and pink floral dress by British Label The Fold and earrings by British jeweler Robinson Pelham.
The dress was constructed of a pleated skirt and was made of Italian silk. The dress’s floral artwork was hand painted in Italy for the label. The intricate detail of the delicate floral print was absolutely stunning against the canvas of the dress. The 34-year-old expectant mum wore a hat by milliner, Jess Collett.
Pippa walked hand in hand with her husband James, 42, into the service along with her parents Carole and Michael Middleton and brother James Middleton.
Pippa who is thought to be just three months along in her pregnancy barely showed any hint of a bump. The smile on her face as she walked by the crowd outside the chapel was a sure sign that Middleton has a lot to be happy about.
Charlotte Sutcliffe-Smith, PR for The Fold confirmed the dress was not a maternity dress and said in a statement, “We are absolutely delighted she has worn it."
James and Pippa Middleton married last year on May 20, 2017. But the couple has known each other for nearly a decade.
Reports say Pippa and James first met in St. Barth’s where Jame’s parents own a luxury hotel. The newlyweds dated for a short time in 2012 before Pippa went on to date other gents. The two stayed in touch over the years and gave their relationship a second shot in 2015. In July 2016 James proposed to Pippa with an Art Deco, Asscher-cut diamond ring.
Now, these two will soon be parents and if the timeline of Pippa’s pregnancy is correct her baby and Prince Louis will be less than a year an apart!
