Brandi Redmond of The Real Housewives of Dallas has great news. People shared that Brandi just adopted a baby boy after she was dealing with fertility issues getting pregnant again. During season two of RHOD she talked about how she was dealing with fertility problems.
It has now been confirmed that season three of The Real Housewives of Dallas will air this summer and Brandi Redmond is going to have a totally different story to tell this time around. Over the winter, Brandi adopted son Bruin Charles along with her husband. He joins daughters Brooklyn, 9, and Brinkley, 6. The couple could not be happier about their little boy as Brandi said, “It’s changed our lives forever. We are obsessed with him, my whole family is. We’re just so blessed.”
Emotional to say the least…We are one blessed beyond family. Thank you @ninedaves @people for this beautiful story. Dave you brought me to tears all over again. Love u. Love my family & friends for all your support. Thank you to all. #takmetobrandiland #rhod #itsaboy #BruinCharles #BruBru . . . Link in bio
He was adopted via a closed adoption and was born early at just 4 lbs., 5 oz., and measuring 18 inches. The crazy thing about their little boy is that he actually has red hair just like the Redmond family. It really does look like he belonged with their family. Maybe it was just the perfect match.
Brandi Redmond shared all about her new baby and she is really happy with how things are going.
“He’s so, so happy. From the moment that I met him for the first time, he just looked straight into my eyes, held my finger as tight as he could, and let out this giant grin. And it’s been like that ever since. He smiles all the time and just giggles and laughs. The only time he cries is when he’s left alone, I’m sure that’s a normal baby thing, but because of how we got him, I’m especially like, ‘No, you will never be left alone.’”
Before getting their son, Brandi and her husband had made the hard decision to stop trying for a baby. They realized it wasn’t happening for them. They tried for years, but Brandi was about to be 40 and they didn’t want to risk her health just to have another baby. They hadn’t even thought about adoption, but their son just fell into their laps. His parents were teenagers and gave him up to the state, but they were having trouble finding placement for him. When a friend of Brandi’s told her about it, fate just took over and they got the perfect addition to their family.
A new season of The Real Housewives of Dallas will air on Bravo this summer, but an exact return date hasn’t been announced yet. The viewers are going to get to see it all play out on this season.
