It’s official! Real Housewives of Orange County Alum Meghan King Edmonds, 33, and husband Jim Edmonds, 47, have decided on names for their twin boys!
King-Edmonds, who published a post on her blog Friday, June 8th, titled, “My birth story,” revealed she named the two new men in her life Hayes and Hart.
The couple welcomed their two bundles of joy on June 5th, who will join big sister Aspen, 18-months old.
Meghan admitted she needed to sit with some of the contenders of names that she and Jim were considering for the boys before making it official. She explained on her blog that Hart, Hayes, Hazes, and Lake were all up for consideration.
“Inside of me Baby A [who was born first] was active and I thought Hart was a good name for an active baby and Hayes or Lake would be better for my Baby B, my chill baby,” she wrote. “But on the outside, Baby B is active and Baby A is chill! Three days later after much thinking we name Baby A Hayes and Baby B Hart.”
She went on to share that the chosen names have deep family meaning for the couple. “Hayes (who looks like Jimmy) is Jimmy’s great-grandma’s maiden name, Hart (who looks like me) is my great-great-great grandpa’s first name,” she continued. “King is a given for their middle names. Our family is now completely complete.”
Now that Meghan’s family is complete the former housewife has her work cut out for her with three kids under the age of two. But Edmonds is being kind to herself and is realistic about bouncing back to her pre-baby body.
Edmonds posted a bathroom selfie of her post-baby body from the hospital showing her still swollen stomach. She wrote alongside the snap, “I worked on this bump for a long and hard 37 weeks. You didn’t think I’d give it up that easy, did you?!”
With three kids to run around after we have no doubt you’ll snap back quickly!
