It was a family affair for the Royal family on Sunday. Kate Middleton, 36, and her older kids George, 4, and Charlotte let loose on the grounds of the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire. The Duchess and her prince and princess came out to support the Duke of Cambridge, 35, who was competing in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy.
The world got to see a less serious side of Kate on Sunday. Middleton was all smiles, frolicking with her children in the grass and running after them, laughing and smiling.
Kate who just gave birth seven weeks ago to her youngest, Prince Louis, was dressed casually but as always chic. Known to wear budget-friendly pieces, the Duchess wore an oxford blue and white off the shoulder dress from Zara that retails for just $69.99. She paired it with Russell & Bromley wedges.
Prince George wore a navy blue polo shirt with Khaki shorts while his sister Charlotte wore a pink floral frock.
It seems that the source of the families laughter Sunday came from no other than Princess Charlotte. The cheeky 3-year-old at one point showed off her handstand skills putting her mom into a fit of laughter. Aside from her acrobatic routine, Charlotte put her sunglasses on while she ran around the field. Charlotte was also pictured peering into her mom’s purse. We wonder what she was looking for?
But don’t think Charlotte was alone in all of the shenanigans. Charlotte’s older brother George joined in on some of their mischievous play. The brother and sister duo were pictured playing with toys, including a slinky and walking a beam of wood practicing their balancing skills.
Sunday’s Polo match was the first of a series of charitable matches that Prince William and Prince Harry will take part in over the summer. Hopefully, this is a tell-tale sign of some more summer antics from George and Charlotte.
