Jessa Duggar Seewald of Counting On is used to people asking questions about the way she parents her children. Being on reality television means that the viewers are going to watch your every move. AOL shared that Jessa recently had to deal with one of these moments and she actually clapped back at the haters and wouldn’t just let them talk negatively about her.
This all started when Jessa posted a video of her youngest son Henry taking a drink. He is only one. Jessa actually wrote this really long hilarious caption with the picture about how this was the same way she felt the first time she drank La Croix sparkling water. The look on Henry’s face makes it appear that he doesn’t really enjoy what he is drinking. Jessa even teased that Henry thought it was not Fanta.

Pretty much the exact same reaction I had to La Croix the first time I tried it. 😂 . “Ok, I’ll try it, but just give me a tiny bit! Wow…definitely not Fanta.😳 Not too bad though. 🤔Let me have another sip.” . *refill* . “It’s really not that good. 🙄Why do I keep drinking it??” 😆 . Ha! Don’t stop yet, bro. It’s the 3rd try wins you over. 😎
This got the fans going crazy and they thought that Jessa had given her son Fanta, which is a soda. The Duggars do get criticized a lot, so Jessa is used to the comments, but she decided this time it was worth speaking out according to the comments she made on the post later.
One follower started out saying, “Please tell me you don’t give him Fanta.” Jessa then directly responded to the commenter and said, “No, he prefers coffee and energy drinks.”Of course, she was just teasing about this one, but Jessa didn’t stop there. Next, she said “And of course I’m joking. He only drinks breastmilk and water.” Her son is just one, so it isn’t surprising at all that he is still drinking breastmilk. Some parents would have started whole milk or juice at this age, but it looks like Jessa hasn’t even done that yet with her son. She was simply posting a funny video that was taken too far by fans.

When you see that nap time about to happen on its own. 😎🙌🏽 Aside from falling asleep in the car, I can probably count on one hand the number of times this kid has fallen asleep on his own. . Spurgeon has been that kid who, since as early as he could speak, would actually ASK to go down for a nap. "Mommy, I'm tired. I want to go night-night." He even requests every light off in the room and his door completely shut before he will fall asleep. . Henry, on the other hand, is that kid who gets cranky and acts tired, but usually cries and refuses to fall asleep on his own. Our key to peaceful sleep? We nurse to sleep, every nap and every nighttime. Everyone has their own method that works for them, and I do not look down on other approaches. Some do sleep training, some let them cry it out. But for us, this is what we've chosen. Motherhood is hard work. When you have two toddlers close in age, there are so many joys, and equally as many challenges… and you learn to choose your battles. This isn't at the top of my list. Yes, he's 16 months old… but I keep telling myself that he won't be little forever. . Today, however, I was gone during nap time, and Daddy got him to sleep on his own without much of a battle. Toddlers will transition over time to a state of being more independent. I don't want to rush it. I love the closeness of our bond. As the weeks go by, I see my clingy little fella growing and changing, and starting to explore more on his own. I know that he won't always raise his arms up, asking to be held. He won't always cry for me when he's awakened scared in the night. He won't always want to snuggle and nurse in my bed for hours in the early morning. Let them be little. Cherish the moments. The days are long, but the years are short. This season will be over before we know it, and it's sure to be missed. 👶🏼💙
Jessa Duggar Seewald has dealt with people giving her a hard time in the past and this isn’t the first time she responded to them. Her sisters are a lot quieter about what people think of them. It will be interesting to see if Jinger Duggar Vuolo is vocal like Jessa after her little girl is born.
Are you surprised to hear that Jessa Duggar Seewald actually said something back to the haters? Don’t miss watching Counting On when the show returns to TLC with new episodes on July 30, 2018. This is going to be a season full of new babies!
