Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines gave birth to her fifth child, Crew, on June 21st. Since his arrival, the new mom has shared heartwarming pics of her little guy via Instagram with his new family members. By the looks of Joanna’s snaps, baby Crew is settling into life just fine.
On June 30th, the 40-year-old HGTV star posted a picture of Crew hanging out in his nursery. Crew is one lucky guy that his mama is a famous interior decorator.
By the glimpse of his nursery, Crew has one of the most stylish rooms, but are we surprised? Lounging in his bouncy chair fast asleep in the pic, Gaines captioned the shot, “It’s been a little over a week and he’s settling in just fine."
Crew isn’t the only one adjusting to his new life like a champ. His two older sisters can’t get enough snuggle time in. On Saturday, July 7 the Magnolia Home Co-founder posted two Insta story’s of her daughter’s Ella, 11, and Emmie, 8, taking turns lounging with their baby brother on the hammock. It’s tiring being attentive big sister’s, the two were both fast asleep with Crew in their shots. Joanna wrote on the clips, “Taking turns."
Back in April Joanna Gaines told People that she and Chip are looking forward to having kids around the house a bit longer than they expected now that they added a fifth member to their brood.
“We think about things like when Emmie goes off to college this little one will only be 10. It’s just crazy to think how wide that gap is, but Chip just loves hanging out with the kids and it’s just such a sweet thing."
“I think it’s sweet because they’re older now, and I can see them wanting to be a part of this,” she added to PEOPLE in May. “We’re all rallying around this baby, which I feel is a sweet gift to our family.”
Proud new father Chip, 43, is following tradition with his youngest child. Joanna revealed that her hubby is still wearing his hospital bracelet. The cookbook author shared a picture of Chip holding Crew who is swaddled in a blanket fast asleep and you can see the hospital bracelet on Chip’s wrist. Joanna wrote alongside the pic, “Chip started a tradition with Drake where he wore the hospital bracelet until it fell off… looks like the tradition lives on. #5."
