New mother Cardi B is the latest member of the mommy club and it seems like the rapper is taking to motherhood like a pro.
The musician gave birth to her daughter Kulture Kiari on July 10 at an Atlanta hospital with her husband Offset, 26, by her side. This is the first child for the 25-year-old artist and the fourth child for her hubby who is already a father to sons Jordan and Kody and daughter Kalea from previous relationships.
A source close to the “I Like It” rapper revealed, “This is everything Cardi has ever wanted and she is already embracing motherhood fully. Her mother and family members have been walking her through the first few weeks and she is cuddled up with her little girl at home.”
The source went on to say, “Cardi and Offset are over-the-moon excited. She’s the sweetest little girl already. Offset says that the birth of this baby feels like the first time he had a kid all over again.”
The moniker that the pair chose for their bundle of joy outwardly pays tribute to Offset. His recent albums are titled Culture and Culture II, and baby Kulture’s middle name is the musician’s given birth name. The father-daughter duo also shares the same initials: KKC.
Three days after Cardi B gave birth the rapper went to her social media via Instagram to thank her fans and friends for their loving support and well wishes during this special time in her life. The new mother also gave an update on how mommyhood was going during her first days as a mother.
“Thank you everybody for the congrats we really appreciated. Thank you to family and friends that’s been hitting me up checking on me. “It’s been a little hard for me to reply back cause this mommy job requires full day, all day, all night attention,” she admitted.
