Ali Fedotowsky of The Bachelorette has two small children at home. Now the reality star is being very open about what her body looks like after she had babies. She posted a very vulnerable picture along with a powerful message on her Instagram. Ali isn’t holding back and is being very open with her fans. This is the kind of honesty that everyone would love to be able to say about themselves.
Basically, Ali Fedotowsky showed that she isn’t perfect even though as a celebrity people might think that she has the perfect body. She is giving everyone a view of her stomach that most celebrities would be ashamed to show. Ali starts explaining saying, “Self love is a difficult thing to fully embrace. When I look at myself in the mirror I can’t help but notice that my hips are wider than they used to be, my wrinkles are deeper than when I was in my 20’s, and my stomach has lumps and bumps that didn’t used to be there. But then I try to remember that my hips are wider because they give birth to two beautiful children.”

Self love is a difficult thing to fully embrace. When I look at myself in the mirror I can’t help but notice that my hips are wider than they used to be, my wrinkles are deeper than when I was in my 20’s, and my stomach has lumps and bumps that didn’t used to be there. But then I try to remember that my hips are wider because they give birth to two beautiful children. My wrinkles are deeper because I’ve spent countless sleepless nights making sure my kiddos are cared for, fed, and loved. And my belly is extra squishy because it spent 18 months making sure two sweet little babies had a place to call home. Sometimes what we see as “flaws” on the outside, are actually what make us stunningly beautiful on the inside. #SelfLove #bodyimage #postpartumbody #postpartum #postpartumbelly
Ali Fedotowsky wants to remind everyone that these changes are all because she is a mother. Ali shares 5-month-old son Riley Doran and 2-year-old daughter Molly Sullivan with husband Kevin Manno. She made two beautiful children and this is what changed her body. Ali is okay with this and her husband Kevin doesn’t seem to mind either. She is lucky to have this man in her life.
Sometimes, moms need to hear from someone else that everyone doesn’t have a perfect body as a reminder. It may take nine months to grow a baby and the things that happen to your body are crazy, but it is all worth it in the end. You get to be called “mom” and that alone is an accomplishment. Every woman needs to learn to be okay with their body and the way it has changed from becoming a mother. It is great that Ali can embrace this and be happy with herself.
