Thank you to everyone that came to greet The Duke and Duchess in windy Wellington following their visit to Maranui Café to meet young New Zealanders working to support each other in the field of #MentalHealth. A source reveals the cottage is going through an extensive renovation for Prince Harry and Meghan’s lifestyle. “It is very old. It was five separate apartments where the palace staff has been living for years. Those will all be knocked into one. It was 20 rooms total, [including] ten bedrooms.”
Harry and Meghan are upsizing from their apartment at the Kensington Palace grounds where they have been residing. More space means the royal couple can personalize their home to their personal interests.
The royal source reveals, “The property does not have a gym or a yoga studio, but Harry and Meghan are planning to build an all-purpose space for gym and personal training use.”
The source also reveals the cottage will have a nursery for Harry and Meghan’s bundle of joy on the way. But Harry and Meghan may have to wait a bit longer to move into their new home. The royal source reveals Harry and Meghan’s cottage most likely will not be move-in ready until early next Fall.

🍃 At the beautiful Redwoods Forest in Rotorua, home of treewalks, mountain biking and 100-year old trees — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the spectacular Redwoods Treewalk in Rotorua, a series of suspension bridges traversing the gaps between its majestic trees, each with their own living deck to ensure viewing platforms adapt to the trees’ rapid growth without any harm. #RoyalVisitNZ #NewZealand #Rotorua
“While they’re really hoping to be moved into Frogmore in time for the birth, they’re also realistic … With the kind of delays these projects face and the limited amount of time they have, they’re mentally prepared to not be in the new house until autumn 2019.”
And what the soon-to-be parents are really looking forward to is some privacy. Harry and Meghan’s top priority is raising their child in private away from the public eye. “They want their children to grow up in as normal an environment as possible,” the source reveals.
